How Many Hours A Day Does A Full-time Scopist Work?

This depends on how much work the scopist takes in, the quality of the writing of the reporter, if tapes are involved and/or video.
However, the following are responses to this question when posted to the SSG:

"About 5 hours of full scoping - not broken up by bathroom breaks, phone calls, making meals or other distractions."
"I scope about 7 hours a day, 6 days a week."
"I work about 7-8 hours a day except when it's an expedite, then it's over 8 hours, plus."
"I usually scope about 6 hours on weekdays only!"

***The average time most scopists polled worked during the day was 6.5 hours.***
